Project 1: Case study ( Analysing passive design strategies )
The objectives of this project are:
-To identify and define the principles of heat transfer in relation to building and people
- To understand what is thermal comfort and discuss factors relating to thermal comfort
- To analyze the effect of thermal comfort factors in a person and in a space
- To be able to criticize design of the space in terms of thermal comfort by referring to MS1525 , UBBL,
and GBI.
Reflection:
In this project i learn a lot of information about passive design strategies which makes me more conscious of the importance of passive design strategies as it saves energy, protects the earth, improve health and saves cost. I never know that the roof top garden has so much to do with energy saving so it is happy that i have learn a lot and it has widen my view. i also learn to research by learning up more and more keywords to help with my research. Besdies that, i also learn to generate analysis with softwares which i have never done before.
